I agree full heartedly with you — working can be fun! I don't recall where I said it isn't… It's especially fun when you are doing the work you want to do!

Second, passive income is generated through copious amounts of work actively upfront. With technology, you can implement systems that allow for the reproduction to scale. I guess what you call "freeloading through ownership" I would call "scaling."

Tomato, tomahto I guess…

Anyway, I would LOVE to see any work you could produce that could help educate me on this subject, you seem to have a very thought provoking and insightful mind!
