And what I'm about to talk about may be annoying but here goes…

Are you familiar with Kevin Kelly and his idea of "1,000 True Fans"? It's a remarkable idea that in order to build and sustain a viable business using modern technology (mainly the internet) all you need are 1,000 true fans (people that buy into your mission and purchase your product/service regularly).

Of course there is a LOT of noise — but there are probably a small group of people (small being thousands in the billions that inhabit the Earth) that just might get something back from you and your mission…
