You are only 15?!?! Christ man you are truly an inspiration.
I am 28. I started seriously writing just after my 26th birthday (place burned down January 2017 and my birthday is December 28).
Take it for what it’s worth — at your age you have the whole fucking world at your fingertips. I can tell you have a genuine love of learning, curiosity and industriousness — three components to building something great.
As far as “imposter syndrome” I think all humans deal with it and experience it in some way shape or form. From the moment we’re born, we start at zero. With every avenue of life that we take we always have to start at the amateur, beginner, “grasshopper” (whatever nomenclature you choose).
In my opinion, the trick is silencing the voice that seems you a fraud at all costs. It’s cliche I know but as long as you believe in yourself, the world will follow.
I like to joke that the Founding Fathers of America, though extremely well educated for their time, were probably fighting their own inner voices that they were imposters as well. Look how John Hancock signed the Declaration of Independence — for the world to see but also for himself.
Perhaps I’m getting a bit grandiose here…
The point is, if you keep doing what you’re doing, the world is at your fingertips.
I have been able to supplement some of my income through blogging.
There are a few places you need to start.
- Do you have a CTA (call to action)?
- Do you have a landing page?
- Are you gathering emails?
These are all questions you need to answer and then implement (if you need help, let me know and I can send you a few resources).
In James Altucher’s book “Choose Yourself” he talks about his own fraud complex — now he manages a successful hedge fund and build his Choose Yourself brand. Same goes for Tim Ferriss.
You’re surrounding yourself with a good community. Feed off them and when you can — provide value and the world is yours.
Be in touch — I’m always around. Can’t wait to see what you conquer in the near future!
