Damn dude…

Great stuff. I remember the pivotal moment for me when I became honest — really honest for the first time.

I told my father that I didn't want to run his business after years of avoiding telling him the truth. I thought he was going to disown me, I thought I would lose his trust and love.

Our relationship has never been better and I haven't had to run and hide from the dream of being a writer.

I am also too honest with my girlfriend sometimes… I like your example. She knows my honesty comes from a place of love so it's all good. It's hard sometimes though.
